In the second round of the Guanabara Under-17 Cup, Flamengo beat Bangu 4-3 on Saturday morning (10) in Gávea, in a very lively game. Mengão's goals were scored by Fred, Ryan Roberto, Lipão and Guilherme. With the victory, the Garotos do Ninho earned their first three points in the competition.

The game
In the very first attack, Flamengo opened the scoring with a beautiful play. Pablo charged down the right and passed to Fred at the edge of the box. The number 7 fired a fine shot into the corner to make it 1-0.

At 16', Bangu equalized with Pedro, who took advantage of Gabriel's assist in the six-yard box to complete the goal: 1-1. With the field heavy due to the heavy rain that was falling in Rio de Janeiro, the red-black team found it difficult to exchange passes.

Mengão scored the second goal in the 30th minute with a beautiful play by Ryan Roberto. The number 10 cleared the play at the edge of the box and finished in the corner, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance: 2-1.

The game was very lively, and Bangu equalized again. After a corner kick into the box, Guilherme finished into the net: 2-2.

Late in the first half, the Ninho Boys took the lead again. Alan Santos beat the goalkeeper on the left side of the box and shot against the post. The ball fell to the striker himself, who crossed perfectly for Lipão to head home: 3-2.

In the first minute of the second half, Bangu equalized once again with Pedro, who risked a shot from outside the area and scored his second goal of the match: 3-3.

Mengão reacted quickly and took the lead again with a stunning goal! Guilherme's free kick curled into the goalkeeper's left corner, making it 4-3.

After the fourth goal, Flamengo continued to attack in search of another. In the 26th minute, Ryan Roberto took a shot from the edge of the box, but the ball went wide. In the final stretch, the game slowed down and lost some of the intensity seen in the opening half. In the final minutes, Flamengo controlled possession and left the field with the victory, earning their first three points in the competition.

Week's agenda
The Garotos do Ninho return to the field next Wednesday (14) to face Ceará, at 15 pm, in Gávea, for the 7th round of the Brazilian Under-17 Championship.
