In the morning of a double round, Mengão's U-15 and U-17 beat Portuguesa in the Luso-Brazilian
The U-15s won 7-0, while the U-17s came from behind to win 3-1. Both matches were valid for the 10th round of the Guanabara Cup.

Double round day in the Luso-Brasileiro! Mengão's U-15 team took to the field this Friday morning (30) and thrashed Portuguesa 7-0, in a game valid for the 10th round of the Guanabara Cup in the category. David (4), Joshua (2) and David scored Mengão's goals. With the result, Fla added 26 points in the competition.
The game
The Boys of the Nest started the match looking to open the scoring, which they did in the 11th minute. David took a free kick from the left side of the box, and the ball ended up in the back of the net: 0-1. In the 24th minute, Mengão extended their lead. Joshua received the ball inside the box and shot. Lucas collected the rebound and passed it back to the number 10, who controlled it and scored Flamengo's second goal: 0-2.
Then, the Mais Querido scored the third goal naturally. João Victor launched a pass from the defense, David let the ball bounce and only took it past the goalkeeper to score another: 0-3. The first half was completely dominated by Flamengo.
Mengão scored their fourth just two minutes into the second half. Pablo regained possession and found Joshua, who beat the ball to the post and beat the goalkeeper: 0-4. And it wasn't long before the fifth goal! In the 12th minute, Christian played a through ball to David, who dribbled past the goalkeeper and scored his third goal of the match: 0-5.
Don't lose count because the Nest Boys are inspired! In the 17th minute, Bidu made a good run down the left and passed to Joshua inside the box, who took the ball away from the goalkeeper and put it in the corner: 0-6.
The seventh came four minutes later. Gabriel crossed from the left, Bidu controlled the ball inside the box, and shot it home. David tapped in the rebound, scoring his fourth, and sealing the victory: 0-7.

U-17 also does well and beats Portuguesa 3-1
Soon after, it was the U-17s' turn to take the field and defeat Portuguesa 3-1. It's worth noting that the Rubro-Negro team played with the U-16 team in this match. Felipe Teresa, Pedrinho, and Fabricio scored the goals for the Rubro-Negro in the Luso-Brasileiro. With the victory, Mengão added 16 points in the championship and moved up the standings.
Portuguesa took the lead in the 18th minute of the first half with a goal from striker Wendel, making it 1-0. But Mengão quickly reacted and tied the game. In the 32nd minute, Felipe Teresa was released into the box and finished past the goalkeeper, making it 1-1.
In the second half, the Ninho Boys pushed forward to find the comeback, which came in the closing stages. In the 34th minute, Portuguesa's defense made a poor clearance, and Pedrinho capitalized, sending a low cross into the corner: 1-2. And there was still time for a third! Alex crossed into the box, Fabricio controlled, cut through the defense, and slotted the ball into the corner to seal the red-and-black victory: 1-3.
