Emanuel shines and Flamengo U-14 reaches the final of the tournament in Italy
The red-black team beat Malmö (SWE) in the quarterfinals and beat Red Bull Academy (AUS) in the semifinals of the competition.

The reigning Brazilian champions, the 2009 generation, won both of their matches in the Abano Footeball Trophy international tournament in Italy this Saturday. In the first match of the day, the quarterfinals, the team led by coach Daniel Franklin dominated the match and defeated Malmö (SWE) 1-0, with João Vitor scoring from a penalty kick in the 32nd minute of the second half. Also noteworthy were the second-half substitutes of Enrico and Emanuel (who took the penalty).
In the semi-final, Mais Querido faced Red Bull Academy (AUS), and won with grit by a score of 3-2, with two goals from striker Luiz Guilherme and one from Emanuel.
The game
Unlike the quarterfinals, the red-and-black goal came just 10 minutes in. Cezar delivered a beautiful pass down the right flank, and Luiz Guilherme, with great skill, scored a beautiful goal: 1-0. And the duo was inspired. In the 23rd minute, after another assist from Cezar, Luiz Guilherme hit a beautiful shot for his second of the game. A stunning goal!
In the second half, Daniel Franklin's men felt the strain of a short run of matches and ended up drawing. But the excitement was yet to come. Emanuel, who came on as a second-half substitute, connected with a header from a Kauã cross, sealing the final score: 3-2.
Grand final
The Under-14 Ninho Boys will return to the field this Sunday (21), for the final, when they will face Atalanta (lTA), at 5 am (Brasília time), with broadcast on FlaTv.
