In a double round held this Saturday morning (09) at CT das Vargens, the U-15 and U-17 teams of Mengão defeated Macaé without difficulties, in matches valid for the 9th round of the Guanabara Cups of the categories. Opening the proceedings, the U-15 team led by coach Leonardo Cherede entered the field and won 4-0 (Bill, Alexander, Luan Andrey and Victor Thiago). Following this, a page in the history of the red-black youth football was written. The two-time Brazilian U-17 champions won 8-2, with an incredible seven goals from Fabricio Yan. Jonathan completed the scoring. Isolated leader of the Guanabara Cup, with 23 points, the U-17 team returns to the field on Wednesday (13), when they will try to confirm their place in the final of the Copa do Brasil, visiting Palmeiras, at Allianz Parque, at 17 pm. In the first leg, the red-black team won 7-3, at Gávea. The two teams return to the field for the State Championship next Saturday (16), when they visit Resende, at Estádio do Trabalhador. 

Mengão's U-15s opened the session with a bang at the Vargens Training Center. Pressing hard from the first minute, the "Garotos do Ninho" created their first scoring opportunity in the 15th minute, when Schilickmann unleashed a low shot from the edge of the box, threatening Macaé's goal. In the 20th minute, Guilherme Gomes hit the post. In the 30th minute, "Mais Querido" opened the scoring with a precise header from Bill.

The Red-Blacks returned for the second half determined to win the match and scored three more goals. In the 27th minute, Alexander, who had just entered the field, scored with his first touch. In the 32nd minute, Luan Andrey crossed the ball and scored the third. And the fourth goal, which sealed the victory for the Ninho Boys, came in stoppage time, in the 36th minute, with a beautiful shot by Victor Thiago.

Immediately afterward, the U-17s took the field to maintain their lead in the Taça Guanabara, and they achieved their goal. In a fast-paced match, Mengão quickly took the lead with two goals from Fabricio Yan, in the second and seventh minutes. But Macaé made things difficult, eventually equalizing with two goals from center forward Guilherme, in the 13th and 17th minutes. Still in the first half, Fabricio Yan scored again, this time back-heeling a header from David Gondim in the 37th minute, securing his hat trick before halftime.

Flamengo nearly extended their lead four minutes into the second half, when Vinicius made a beautiful solo play and hit the post. Six minutes in, the goal came. And it was once again Fabricio Yan, who scored his fourth goal of the match, heading in a Lucas Moreira pass. A minute later, Fabricio Yan added another. That's right, five goals in one game, extending the lead for Flamengo. 

Mengão's number 9 woke up determined to make history. In the 12th minute, Fabricio Yan scored again, his sixth goal of the game, and also the sixth for the Ninho Boys. And it didn't stop there. In the 18th minute, Fabricio Yan again tapped the ball into the back of the net for his seventh goal of the match. Mengão extended their lead in the 27th minute, and—surprise!—Jonathan scored with a beautiful cross-shot, sealing another rout for the red-and-blacks this season.
