Flamengo returns to the field for the 14th round of the Brazilian Under-20 Championship this Wednesday (18), at 15 pm, to face Atlético-GO, at the Antônio Accioly Stadium, in Goiânia. The red-black team will try to recover after being beaten 2-1 by Corinthians, at home, in the previous match.

The match against their Goiás opponent is crucial for Flamengo, who needs a win to stay in the qualifying zone, currently sitting in eighth place, the final spot for the quarterfinals. Depending on the other results, Flamengo could even climb the table.

Coach Nuno Campos led the last activity before the match against Atlético, on Tuesday morning (17), at CT George Helal. Striker Shola is back after serving a suspension for the third yellow card. After training, the delegation had lunch at Ninho do Urubu and then left for Goiânia.

The Garotos do Ninho will also fight on another front, this Wednesday (18), at 15 pm, this time for the Brazilian Under-17. Managed by Daniel Franklin, the team goes to Bragança Paulista, where they will face RB Bragantino, at the Nabi Abi Chedid Stadium, in the sixth round. Flamengo is in 15th place, with six points, while the São Paulo team is in ninth place, with eight.
