Flamengo is in the Copa Light final in the pre-junior and junior categories. In another important step for the club's youth teams, the Gávea boys have surpassed themselves and will seek new titles. The dates and times for the finals will be announced later this week.
The children's category secured a spot in the final by beating Fluminense 4-2. The following scored for the Red-Black team: Rafinha (2), Damião (1) and an own goal. In the pre-children's category, qualification for the final came with a crushing 5-1 victory over Performace. Flamengo's goals were scored by João Pedro (4) and Caio (1).
