This Sunday (02.12), Flamengo's youth team takes to the field in Belo Horizonte to compete in the BH Cup. The tournament brings together ten teams (Cruzeiro, Internacional, Flamengo, Fluminense, Corinthians, Grêmio, Chivas Guadalajara, América-MG, Cruzeiro Internacional – a team formed by Cruzeiro's exchange program – and Atlético-MG) and will have its games held at Cruzeiro's training center.

Flamengo is in Group A of the competition, composed of the home team, Cruzeiro, as well as Corinthians, Internacional and Grêmio. The first game of the boys from Gávea will be against the hosts, next Sunday (02.12), at Campo I da Toca da Raposa I, at 9 am.

Form of dispute
In the first phase of the tournament, the teams will be divided into two groups of five teams each, with the top four teams from each group advancing to the next stage of the championship. In the knockout stage, the qualified clubs will face each other in a single match to determine the winner.

In the qualifying round through the semifinals, matches will last 60 minutes (with two 30-minute halves). In the final, the decisive match will be divided into two 35-minute halves, totaling 70 minutes.
