Flamengo draws in the debut of the Brazilian Under-20 Championship
Diego Maurício scores twice, but the team concedes a draw to Goiás in stoppage time.

With two goals, the main hope of Flamengo's U-20 team didn't disappoint, but a goal conceded in stoppage time in the final period forced coach Armênio Moura's team to a 2-2 draw with Goiás in their first match of the fourth edition of the Brazilian U-20 Championship. In the next round of Group 4, held in Santa Rosa, Rio Grande do Sul, Flamengo faces Palmeiras.
\Despite the thrilling atmosphere, Tuesday night's game was dominated by one man: Flamengo. Playing captivating football, the team from Gávea dominated the attacking play and consistently led. However, Goiás didn't let it slide and chased an equalizer whenever possible. Diego Maurício made it 1-0, and Goiás equalized. Diego scored the second, and in stoppage time, the opponent also scored. Even so, defender Cristiano considered the result positive.
