Despite the thrilling atmosphere, Tuesday night's game was dominated by one man: Flamengo. Playing captivating football, the team from Gávea dominated the attacking play and consistently led. However, Goiás didn't let it slide and chased an equalizer whenever possible. Diego Maurício made it 1-0, and Goiás equalized. Diego scored the second, and in stoppage time, the opponent also scored. Even so, defender Cristiano considered the result positive.
