The game
In 40-degree heat in Rio de Janeiro, Flamengo's U-14s started the derby by taking the initiative and going on the attack. But it was Fluminense who opened the scoring in the 20th minute with Ronald, who infiltrated the Flamengo defense and scored with a header: 1-0. The first half ended with the Tricolor ahead.

In the second half, Flamengo managed to hold the ball a little longer and occupied the attacking half in search of an equalizer. Mengão turned the match around after just two minutes. João Victor scored both goals! The first was a low shot into the corner, and the second was a header: 2-1.

In the 23rd minute, Fluminense equalized with Guimarães, who took advantage of the rebound in the box and scored the second for the tricolor team: 2-2. The first leg of the Taça Rio final ended in a draw and will be decided in the return leg, with the opponent having home advantage.
