A day of debuts and lots of goals. The sunny Sunday (26) in Rio de Janeiro marked the start of the first edition of the Copa do Brasil Sub-15. And Flamengo couldn't be left out. After a more balanced first half, the red-black team went all out on the attack in the second half and won 6-1 against Porto Vitória, from Espírito Santo. Pavuna (2), Deivid (2), Moraes and João Vitor scored for Fla. The match was played at the José Bastos Padilha Stadium, in Gávea.

From the start of the match, Porto Vitória sought to defend as much as possible, heavily congesting the midfield, while Flamengo constantly sought to attack but ran into the opponent's defensive system. The first shot on goal for the red-and-black team came in the 24th minute, when right-back Vinícius shot wide to the right of the goalkeeper.

After a dangerous counter-attack by the Espírito Santo team, it was Flamengo's turn to quickly break and open the scoring in the 33rd minute with Deivid, who scored a beautiful goal from midfield, lobbing the goalkeeper. However, in the next play, Porto Vitória equalized. Before the end of the first half, in the 39th minute, Flamengo regained the lead. Vinicius delivered a perfect cross for Pavuna's header.

The game's dynamic changed completely in the second half. Flamengo began to dominate the match, stifling the Espírito Santo team's build-up play and creating numerous scoring opportunities, mainly through Deivid and Moraes, but the goal just wouldn't come. Their persistence finally paid off in the 17th minute when Moraes scored the third goal after a pass from Pavuna.

The fourth goal for João Marcos' team came in the following minute, scored by João Vitor. It wasn't long before Pavuna extended the lead in the 23rd minute, capitalizing on an assist from Deivid. Ten minutes later, Deivid scored again, this time assisted by Lauender after a cross from the left by Dadá. With the victory secured, the Flamengo youth team slowed the pace and managed their lead until the final whistle.
