The Carioca Under-15 champions just over a month ago, the Garotos do Ninho put on a show in Gávea with a 5-1 rout of Maricá in their Copa Rio debut. The match was played this Saturday morning at José Bastos Padilha Stadium in Gávea. Guilherme Queiroz was the star of the show, scoring a hat trick. Marcos Pierre and Mateus Teixeira completed the scoring. Daniel pulled one back for the opponent.

The red-and-black U-15 team will face Volta Redonda in the second round of the Copa Rio. The match is scheduled for the 23rd of this month at 14:45 p.m. in Gávea.

From the start, Flamengo imposed a strong tempo and scored in the fourth minute. Guilherme Queiroz found the net after an assist from Marcos Pierre.
