Flamengo were beaten 3-1 by Palmeiras in the Brazilian Under-20 Championship. The game, valid for the tenth round of the competition, was played this Thursday (7), at the Luso Brasileiro Stadium, on Ilha do Governador. Alan scored the Flamengo goal.

Flamengo opened the scoring early, in less than a minute. Alan scored after Reyes stole the ball and passed to Josmar for the assist. At 14 minutes, Palmeiras had two shots blocked and, in the sequence, a shot wide to the left by Léo Nannetti.

At 13 minutes, Diego Reyes passed to Alan, who was in a legal position, to score Flamengo's second goal. The referee wrongly disallowed the goal, which would have put Flamengo ahead. In a quick counter-attack, Josmar made the play and Alan had a good opportunity, very well saved by the opposing goalkeeper, at 23 minutes. Flamengo attacked again 11 minutes later: Alan went down the left wing at speed and passed to Josmar, who shot and the ball deflected off the defense. Palmeiras attacked once more before the end of the first half.

The second half had barely begun when Palmeiras equalized in the 3rd minute. The opponent threatened again in the 8th minute with a shot inside the area, which Léo Nannetti saved. In the 19th minute, the São Paulo team scored their second goal. Flamengo almost equalized: Reyes shot from outside the area and the goalkeeper parried it over the crossbar in the 31st minute. But it was Palmeiras who extended their lead in the 36th minute, sealing the victory.
