Brazil U-19 coach Luiz Antonio Verdini has named the Brazilian squad that will participate in the U-20 International Football Tournament, which will take place from July 25th to 31st in Paraguay. The squad includes two pieces of good news for the Flamengo team. Defender Christianno and midfielder Luis Antônio have been called up by the coach and will represent Flamengo in the competition.

The presentation is scheduled for July 23rd at Tom Jobim International Airport in Rio de Janeiro, from where the team will depart for Paraguay. Brazil's first game will be on July 27th against the Colombian national team.

"I'm very happy with this call-up. Defending Flamengo is a huge responsibility, and so is the Brazilian national team. It's a great opportunity, and I hope to do my best, show my football skills, and come back with this title," said Christianno.

It is worth remembering that Luis Antônio already had been summoned by Verdini for a period of training at Granja Comary, in Teresópolis, with a view to the South American Under-20 Championship, which will be played in 2011.
