Fla has coach Nuno Campos' debut against Vasco, in the Brazilian Under-20 Championship
Garotos do Ninho seek their first victory in the competition, this Friday (28), at 16 pm, at Luso-Brasileiro
By nelson coast - inAfter the postponement of the first game due to being in the U-20 Libertadores and the setback in the second round, away from home, Flamengo enters the field for the third round of the Brazilian Championship in this category to face Vasco, this Friday (28), at 16 pm, at the Luso-Brasileiro Stadium. With broadcast by Sportv, the classic will mark the debut of coach Nuno Campos.
The Portuguese coach took over the U-20 team last Tuesday and will already face a major challenge after just three days. South American champions less than two weeks ago, the "Garotos do Ninho" will play at home for the first time since their triumph, seeking their first victory in the competition. Felipe Teresa, with a right femoral biceps injury (injured in the first half of the Libertadores final), will be out of the team once again. The forward remains undergoing treatment in the medical department.
Alongside his assistant Gonçalo Cruz, also from Portugal, Nuno led his third training session this Thursday afternoon at the George Helal Training Center, the last before the match against Vasco. The rival, in fact, has played a game more than the Rubro-Negro and has yet to win in the championship.
Next week, Flamengo will have another classic in the sequence of the Brazilian Sub-20, this time against Fluminense, Thursday (4), at 17 pm, at the Moça Bonita Stadium, in Bangu.
