The under-17 and under-15 teams took to the field this Saturday (13) for the sixth round of the Copa Rio to face América-RJ, at the Giulite Coutinho Stadium, in Mesquita, Baixada Fluminense. For the under-17 team, they won 2-1, while the under-15 team drew XNUMX-XNUMX with the home team.

EIn their fifth game of the Rio U-17 Cup, the red-and-black team started off with a loss. After a scoreless draw in the first half, América took the lead 12 minutes into the second half. The equalizer came in the 28th minute, with Júlio Cesar scoring from the penalty spot. Mengão secured the victory with Anthony, who capitalized on Matheusinho's assist to score.

It was Flamengo's fourth victory in the Rio U-17 Cup, bringing them to 13 points. Their next match will be against Nova Iguaçu, next Thursday, the 18th, at 11 am, in Gávea.
