Flamengo have agreed to sign midfielder Cristian Araújo, who turned 16 in January of this year. After visiting Ninho do Urubu, this Wednesday (20), and undergoing medical examinations at the CT, the athlete signed a contract until 2028.

Earlier this year, Cristian stood out in the São Paulo Junior Football Cup. He was a starter for Mirassol's under-20 team before turning 16, attracting the attention of many clubs. The midfielder is now registered and can play for Flamengo, which is competing in the first phase of the Brazilian Under-20 Championship.
