On April 13th, Clube de Regatas do Flamengo officially announced another partnership to capture young talent for Brazilian soccer. Similar to the agreement with Clube CEU in Fortaleza, the current partnership with Clube Trieste in Curitiba provides for the training, observation, and recruitment of athletes still in development for the Mais Querido's youth teams. Additionally, there will be exchanges between professionals from both clubs, with lectures, classes, and knowledge sharing.

With a broad network of players not only throughout the southern region but also in the states of Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Rondônia, and Acre, Trieste boasts excellent observation facilities and one of the best facilities in Paraná football. It features three soccer fields, a futsal gym, a fitness center, an indoor pool, and accommodations for up to 130 athletes. This wonderful service is now available to the Mais Querido.

"We are absolutely convinced of the potential this new partner will bring to the detection of future young talent for Flamengo. We understand that this partnership reinforces all the investment the current board has been making to strengthen the Youth Football Athlete Recruitment Department. The results are being reaped day after day. In the first four months of 2018, we won several important competitions, such as the São Paulo Cup and the Guanabara Cup (U-20), the Adidas Generation Cup in Dallas (U-17), the Dubai International Tournament, beating Real Madrid in the grand final (U-16), and the Nike Premier Cup (U-15), which qualified us for the World Cup in August in Austria. We understand that this is a path of no return for Flamengo's youth football, and we want to continue strengthening ourselves so that the titles continue to come. Partnerships for talent acquisition throughout Brazil are essential to ensure we remain at the top," said Luiz Carlos, Flamengo's Youth Recruitment Coordinator.

"Flamengo understands the importance of partnerships with well-structured training clubs and wants to increasingly develop its talent acquisition strategy throughout the country. Our goal is to leverage the strength of the Flamengo brand and the remarkable evolution of our entire work structure to be present in every region of the country with excellent partners like Trieste, which boasts top-notch infrastructure and proven success in its operations," added Luis Nogueira, Advisor to the President for youth football.
