Flamengo presents its new U-15 and U-16 coaches

2022 was a year of great memories for Flamengo's youth team. A total of 44 titles were won throughout the season.
And to maintain this level of excellence, in pursuit of more trophies this year, the club has hired two new coaches. Vinicius Durante will be in charge of the U-15 category, and Rafael Bahia will be in charge of the U-16 category.
"We had to undertake this renewal process, and we were mapping professionals throughout Brazil. They are people who have been successful wherever they have been, like Rafael and Vinicius, and they meet the alignment profile that we advocate in the training and playing model, aiming to also serve professional football. They come to further enhance the quality of work of our professionals on a daily basis," said Luiz Carlos, general manager of youth football.
Vinicius Durante, from Botafogo, was chosen to lead the Garotos do Ninho generation of the 2008 generation and already feels adapted to the Mais Querido.
"It's been really easy. I've been very well received by the departments that work on a daily basis, quality players, the club offers a lot of things that we need, and in this short time I've already been able to experience it and it feels like I've been here for a year," said Vinicius.
Having spent time at the club in 2018/2019, Rafael Bahia is back, now taking on a new role: coaching the U-16 team.
"I want to thank you for the opportunity to be back at Flamengo after four years and I had no choice but to accept the invitation to come back and see how things have evolved. My first stint at Flamengo was as a technical observer for the Youth Team and then I moved to the market analysis department and now I'm returning as a coach," said Rafael. that came from Santos.
