Flamengo advances in the under-15 and under-17 categories of the Carioca Championship.
Flamengo secures two victories over Volta Redonda at Gávea.

Flamengo achieved victories over Volta Redonda in two categories, in the last round of the Taça Guanabara. The under-15 team won 6-0, while the under-17 team won 3-0. The matches between Rubro-Negro and the opponent from the interior of the State of Rio were played on Saturday afternoon (23), at the José Bastos Padilha Stadium, in Gávea. Both Mengão teams qualified for the Carioca quarter-finals.
The Flamengo youth team started strong in the under-15 category. Just two minutes in, Moraes received a pass from Deivid and opened the scoring. Deivid scored the second goal in the 9th minute, assisted by Davi Moura, and Moraes scored his second goal in the 16th minute, sealing the first half after a play by Adryan. In the second half, João Vitor extended the lead in the 8th minute, Pedrinho scored the fifth in the 16th minute, again with a pass from Davi Moura, and Deivid sealed the victory in the 33rd minute, scoring his second goal.
The match between Flamengo and Volta Redonda in the final round of the Guanabara Cup U-17 ended goalless in the first half. Flamengo's goals came after the break. João Vítor opened the scoring with a penalty in the 10th minute of the second half. Isaac scored the second seven minutes later, and Enrico, assisted by Amílca, sealed the victory.
