On Saturday morning (11.09), Flamengo beat Fluminense 2-1 and secured a place in the final of the Mangaratiba Under-11 Football Cup. The decision will be held next weekend, in Itacuruçá, against Vasco da Gama.
Flamengo started the game at full speed and put Fluminense under intense pressure. They managed to take an early lead in the first half, with goals from Gabriel, with a cross-shot, and Rafael, with a free kick.
In the second half, Tricolor managed to reduce the deficit early on, with Chumbinho, but Flamengo remained calm and maintained a positive result.
The Rubro-negro, led by Eduardo Farias, took to the field with Felipe, Marcelo, Antonio Guilherme, Matheus, and Michael; Marcio, Gabriel, Felipe, and Julio Cesar; Rafael Lourenço and Luiz Henrique. Marx Lenin and João Victor also came on.
