Flamengo reaches the U-15 and U-17 semifinals of the Guanabara Cup

All of the club's youth teams took to the field last weekend for the State Championship. The U-20s tied with Volta Redonda in the Rio Cup. In the Guanabara Cup, the U-17s and U-15s qualified for the semifinals. In the Metropolitan Championship, the U-14s and U-13s won the derby against Botafogo. All matches were played at the José Bastos Padilha stadium, located in the Gávea social center.

Sub-20

In the 13th round of the Rio Cup, the Mais Querido juniors drew 2-2 with Volta Redonda, with goals from Lucas Silva and Daniel, last Saturday (18), in Gávea. In the next round, Flamengo faces América, at Giulite Coutinho, Saturday (02), at 15 pm.

Sub-17
Also on Saturday (18), the under-17s played in Gávea. Against Botafogo, the match ended in a 1-1 draw, with a goal by Matheus Thuler, and went to penalties. In the shootout, the opponent won 5-4. The red-black youth team finished the first phase of the Guanabara Cup in first place and undefeated. In the semifinal, the boys face Fluminense, in Gávea, Wednesday (22), at 15 pm.

Sub-15
The Children's team also took to the field on Saturday against Botafogo, in Gávea. After winning 1-0, with a goal from Lázaro, the team led by coach Dudu Patetuci will return to the field next Wednesday (22), for the semi-final of the Guanabara Cup, against Nova Iguaçu, at 9 am.

Sub-14
In the Metropolitan Championship, the U-14s faced Botafogo and won 3-0 at Gávea Stadium. Samuel scored twice, and an own goal sealed the score. In the next round, the boys face Vasco in São Cristóvão at 10:30 a.m.

Sub-13
In the under-13 division, Flamengo also defeated Botafogo 4-1 at Gávea. With goals from Daniel, João, Jorge, and Thiago, Flamengo closed out the weekend with three victories over Botafogo in four derbies against the black and white club. In the next round, the team faces Vasco in São Cristóvão at 9 a.m.
