Last Sunday (10) was a title day for the red-blacks. With an undefeated campaign (eight wins and four draws), the prodigy Juninho, representing Flamengo, was champion of the 2nd Stage of the Carioca Individual Table Football Championship (9 x 3 dice), held at the Grajaú Tennis Club gymnasium.

“It never crossed my mind that I could be champion. After all, I hadn't been playing very well and I wasn't training. Especially with such fierce competitors as Paulinho Quartarone, Bandini, Ronald, Victor Praça and Adriano, who are playing incredibly well. But, thankfully, everything worked out and it was the best feeling in the world to lift another trophy in a Fefumerj event,” revealed Juninho.

Ricardo Mendonça, who also represented Flamengo, won third place and took another trophy back to Gávea. He won the match against Paulinho Quartarone (Zico 10) by 3-2.
