The Under-14 Boys of Ninho draw with Botafogo, 1-1, in Gávea, in the second match of the final of the Metropolitan Championship - Rio Cup of the category and win the championship with an aggregate score of 3-1. 

The game: 

1st Half 

The opposing team started the match better, and opened the scoring in the 9th minute with a header from Gustavo Henrique. 

Flamengo began to push the game harder after conceding the goal, and created danger with plays down the wings. In the 16th minute, after a fine play by midfielder Davi Fraga, right-back Nathan Ribeiro was stopped by goalkeeper Bruno. 

Botafogo then hit Flamengo's crossbar with Guilherme. Flamengo got their goal back in the 23rd minute with a shot from Thauan. In the 26th minute,  Davi Fraga fired a dangerous shot from outside the box. In the final play of the first half, with a lobbed shot from Kaic, Botafogo threatened. 

2st Half

Flamengo had the first goal-scoring opportunity of the second half with Davi Fraga, who sent a free kick over the bar in the 3rd minute. In the 8th minute, José Eduardo shot from the edge of the box, but the Botafogo goalkeeper made a good save. 

Mengão equalizes in the 15th minute, after a great play and assist from Rafael, José Eduardo scores for the Garotos do Ninho! 

After Flamengo's equalizer, the match became very close, with few chances. As a result, the U-14 team took home the Campeonato Metropolitano - Taça Rio trophy.

U-13 takes second place 

The under-13 team also took part in the final of the Metropolitan Championship - Copa Rio, in Gávea, but finished second after losing 6-5 on penalties. In normal time, Flamengo won 1-0, with a goal from Moraes.
