On Wednesday afternoon (03), Flamengo was beaten by Vasco 1-0, at the Gávea stadium, in the second leg of the second phase of the U-17 Brazil Cup. With the defeat, the Garotos do Ninho say goodbye to the tournament.

The derby started off tense, with intense midfield combat and no chances for either side in the opening minutes. The first attempt by the Ninho Boys came in the eighth minute, with a David shot. In the 23rd minute, Lucyan received the ball at the edge of the box and took a chance, forcing the opposing goalkeeper to make a fine save.
The rest of the first half was also a highly contested affair, with both teams fighting for every inch of the pitch, but again, without any clear-cut chances. The game went into the break with the score tied 0-0.
At the start of the second half, Mengão began pressing forward in search of the match's first goal. In the 8th minute, Vasco opened the scoring: 1-0.
After the opponent's goal, the Nest Boys tried, and Joshua had the best opportunity in stoppage time.
