Flamengo has qualified for eight finals in the youth categories. The Rubro-Negro is in the Carioca finals at the U-17 and U-15 levels; and from the U-9 to U-17 levels, it only missed the U-12 title duel. The champions of five categories will be announced next weekend.

The Ninho Boys played the first leg matches of the Carioca finals for the under-17 and under-15 categories, both last Saturday (28/6). In the first leg, they were defeated 5-4 by Botafogo, away from home, at the Nilton Santos Stadium. The under-15 kids defeated Fluminense 3-2, at the José Bastos Padilha Stadium, in Gávea.

The under-17 team, led by Daniel Franklin, will decide the title with Botafogo this Saturday (5), at 14:45 pm, in Gávea, while the under-15 team, coached by João Fernandes, will face Fluminense at the Marcelo Vieira Stadium, Sunday (6), at 10 am, in Xerém.

In the Metropolitan Championship, Flamengo's under-11 team took an important step towards the title by defeating Serrano 4-0 away from home at Atílio Maroti Stadium in Petrópolis. Murilo scored the first three goals of the match and Diego Maciel completed the scoring. The return match is scheduled for Saturday (5), at 15 pm, at CT das Vargens.

Mengão still faces two Edílson Silva Cup finals against Fluminense. In the first leg, played away from home at the Marcelo Vieira Stadium in Xerém, the under-2 team won 1-9, with goals from Miguel, and the under-10 team drew 6-10. The duels for the two titles will be played at home next Saturday (9), with the under-9 team at 10 am and the under-40 team at XNUMX:XNUMX am.

And it didn't stop there. The weekend also saw Vasco qualify for the finals of two Metropolitan Championship categories. The U-13 team, the "Garotos do Ninho," drew 2-2 with goals from Enzo and Adriano, and advanced, having won the first leg 2-0. In the U-14 category, their opponent won 2-1, but Flamengo advanced, having won the first leg 3-0. The derbies were held at the Vargens Training Center.

The red-black opponent in both categories is Fluminense. The first leg games will be played next Sunday (6), at the Marcelo Vieira Stadium, in Xerém. Fla takes the field at 13:30 pm (under-14) and at 15:10 pm (under-13).

It is worth mentioning that the under-20 team is playing the semifinals of the OPG Tournament against Fluminense and will have to reverse the 1-0 defeat of the opponent, who will play at home. The duel to see who will qualify for the final will take place on Sunday (6), at 10 am, at the Marcelo Vieira Stadium, in Xerém.

In the final of the Copa Rio Sub-16, Fla was beaten 2-0 by Vasco, who ended up winning the competition.
