After taking the lead with a 2-1 victory in the first leg of the Copa Rio Sub-17 final, Flamengo will decide the title of the competition this Friday (11/14), at 14:45 pm, at the Nivaldo Pereira Stadium, in Austin, in Baixada Fluminense. João Vitor scored both of Flamengo's goals in the classic match, played at Gávea.

Coach Daniel Franklin finalized the team's last adjustments this Thursday. The group trained at the George Helal Training Center and concluded their preparation for the match. The Rio Cup closes Flamengo's 2026 season in the under-17 category.

Flamengo played 14 matches in the competition, with nine wins, four draws, and only one loss. They scored 28 goals and conceded 14. João Vitor is the team's top scorer with four goals.
