In the second leg of the Copa Rio Sub-17 semifinals, Flamengo lost to Fluminense 2-1 on Saturday morning (21), in Laranjeiras. Jonathan scored the red-black goal in the match. With the result, the Garotos do Ninho ended their participation in the tournament.

The game
Flamengo started the match with a lot of attacking activity. Six minutes in, Mengão opened the scoring! Lorran passed the ball to Jonathan, who controlled the ball just outside the box and fired it into the top corner: 0-1.

In the 13th minute, Fluminense equalized with Agner's goal, making it 1-1. The Boys from the Nest remained undeterred and continued to attack, searching for a second goal. In the 35th minute, Luís Fernando extended the lead for the home side, making it 2-1. The first half ended with the Tricolor team ahead.

In the second half, coach Léo Ramos quickly returned with three substitutions, making the red-and-black team even more attacking. In the 11th minute, Adriel cut past two defenders and struck. The ball grazed the post.  

The Ninho Boys managed to get forward, but struggled to penetrate Fluminense's defense, which was tightly closed. The red-and-black team tried to score the goals they needed to qualify, but were unsuccessful. With this result, Flamengo bowed out of the tournament.
