In the first leg of the Carioca Sub-15 final, Flamengo drew 1-1 with Fluminense this Saturday morning (18), in Gávea. Ryan Pablo scored the red-black goal. Next Saturday (25), the teams will face each other again to find out who will be the state champion of the category.

The game
In the scorching heat, the match began with Fluminense threatening the red-and-black goal more than ever. Just three minutes in, goalkeeper Paulo Guilherme shone and made a great save. The Tricolor opened the scoring in the 8th minute with Sonny Anderson's header from a corner kick in the box: 1-0.

Mengão didn't take long to level the score at Gávea in the 21st minute. Matheus Tiago attempted a shot from the edge of the box, but the ball deflected off the defense and fell to Ryan Pablo, who fired into the top corner, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance: 1-1. The first half ended in a draw.

In the second half, the derby continued with an intense battle for possession. The Ninho Boys sought to attack and exchange passes in the attacking half. In the 40th minute, a free kick was taken into the box and Bernardo Mendonça headed dangerously. The referee added five minutes of stoppage time, but the game ended in a draw at Gávea.

Flamengo's U-15s return to the field next Saturday (25) to face Fluminense again, at 9 am, in Vale das Laranjeiras, for the second leg of the Carioca final in the category.
