Goals from Yuri de Oliveira and Ítalo in a 2-0 victory at Morumbi Stadium gave the "Garotos do Ninho" a slight advantage in their clash against São Paulo in the quarterfinals of the U-17 Brazil Cup. This Thursday, the teams face off again, this time at Raulino de Oliveira Stadium, at 19:15 p.m. "Mais Querido" can even lose by a single goal and still advance to the semifinals.

Coach Phelipe Leal named the following players for the match:

Braian, Bruno, Daniel Cabral, Dhouglas, Gabriel Noga, Gomes, Italo, John Fernando, John Gabriel, Lazarus, Lucas Freitas, Lucas Gabriel, Luis Gustavo, Natan, Pedro Arthur, Pedro Victor, Ramon, Reinier, Rhyan, Sidney, Weverton, Yuri de Oliveira.  

Coach Phelipe Leal's men head into the decisive match against São Paulo on a strong run and improving. After a 1-0 loss to Londrina in the first leg, they secured a 4-1 victory at Gávea. 

Next, the Ninho Boys traveled to Belo Horizonte, and the 1-1 first-leg draw sent the finals back to Gávea. On home soil, Flamengo prevailed, defeating Coelho 3-0.

In the quarterfinals, a duel between Brazil's two best youth teams. Despite facing a strong São Paulo team, Mengão dominated the match at Morumbi Stadium and won 2-0, with goals from Yuri de Oliveira and Ítalo.    

Flamengo x São Paulo will be broadcast on the Sportv channel from 18:45 pm.

There will be no tickets for the match, and admission to the Raulino de Oliveira stadium will be free. The Red-Black Nation is welcome to support the Garotos do Ninho as they seek another victory in the U-17 Brazil Cup.

In the quarterfinals, teams face each other in two-legged matches. The team with the most points advances to the quarterfinals. If the teams are tied on points at the end of both matches, the following tiebreaker criteria will be used: 1st - goal difference; 2nd - penalties.
