The Brasileirão U-20 started with a setback for the Garotos do Ninho. This Friday (3), Flamengo was defeated 4-0 by Corinthians in the competition's debut. 

Corinthians opened the scoring in the fourth minute, relying on a lucky cross from the right. When trying to clear it, the red-and-black defense played it into their own net. The score was increased eight minutes later, with a shot from outside the box that deflected off the defense. In the 24th minute, the red-and-black defense managed to clear the ball almost on the line, but the Corinthians attack pounced on the rebound. Before halftime, the black-and-white team scored their fourth goal. 

After the break, the Ninho Boys kept their heads high and went on the attack. The half was dominated by the red-and-blacks, seeking to reduce the deficit. Their moves cornered the opponent, but their good shots were denied by the goalkeeper.

Flamengo U-20's next match in the national competition is against Fluminense, on the 13th.
