The Flamengo team had a player sent off when the score was tied 2-2 and ended up conceding a third goal to Botafogo.

In a classic five-goal match, Flamengo were defeated 3-2 by Botafogo. The match, valid for the ninth round of the Taça Guanabara, was played on Wednesday morning (13), at Ninho do Urubu.
The first goal for Flamengo came in the 9th minute, scored by João Vitor, but the lead didn't last long, and Botafogo equalized in the 15th minute. The opponent ended up taking the lead before the end of the first half.
Just four minutes into the second half, João Vitor provided the assist for number 9 Deivid to equalize for Flamengo. With one more player, due to Adryan's expulsion in the 11th minute, Botafogo regained the lead by scoring their third goal in the 23rd minute. Despite the efforts of their players, Flamengo were unable to mount a comeback.
Flamengo's next game in the Carioca Sub-15 will be against Sampaio Corrêa, next Saturday (16), at 15 pm, away from home, at the Lourival Gomes Stadium, in Saquarema.
