On the night of last Wednesday (29.07), Flamengo's under-17 team played the BH Cup final against Corinthians. On the field, Rubro-Negro fell behind, pressed in the final minutes, scored a goal with Klebinho, but was unable to turn the game around and lost to Alvinegro Paulista 2-1, at Arena Jacaré, in Sete Lagoas.
The first half was a tight affair, but neither team had a chance to score. Corinthians, which had the majority of possession and controlled the game, substituted two players due to injuries. One of the players who came on, Fabrício, scored both goals for the São Paulo team: a free kick in the sixth minute of the second half and another in the tenth minute on a counterattack. In the final minutes, Flamengo pressed forward, and pulled one back with a Klebinho header in the 10nd minute. The Red-Blacks had a great chance to equalize with a Patrick free kick, but the opposing goalkeeper made a great save.
