Flamengo draws with Budapest Honvéd (HUN) in the debut of the Puskás Cup, in Hungary
The Ninho boys play better and press until the end, but the match ends at 0-0. Their next opponent in the fight for their second title will be Genk of Belgium.

Mengão's U-16 team, led by coach Leo Ramos, is in Hungary, where they are trying to win the Puskás Suzuki-Kupa U-17 championship for the second time, after being crowned champions in 2019. In the debut of the 2021 edition, the Garotos do Ninho dominated the game and pressured their opponents until the final whistle in search of the winning goal, but left the field with a 0-0 draw against Budapest Honvéd, from Hungary, who saw their goalkeeper Schrankó Levente be the best player on the field. In the next round, this Tuesday (27) at 10:45 am (Brasília time), Mengão faces Genk, from Belgium. The competition's official website broadcasts the tournament live.
In a tightly contested first half with very few scoring chances, the red-and-blacks' best opportunity came in the 30th minute, when João Victor Carbone unleashed a low shot from outside the box. Hungarian goalkeeper Levente made a good save.
Flamengo returned for the second half with Lucas Matheus replacing Vitor Fonseca and went on the offensive. In the fifth minute, Hernandes delivered a beautiful cross to Marquinhos, who headed the ball from the penalty spot, but Levente saved. In the tenth minute, after a cross into the box, Marquinhos got past his marker, but the goalkeeper deflected the ball just seconds before he could finish.
Mengão was all hands on deck. In the 13th minute, Marquinhos cleverly chipped the ball from the edge of the box into the corner. The Hungarian goalkeeper made another great save, palming it out for a corner. In the 24th minute, Rayan Lucas made a beautiful individual play and sent in a low cross. Levente cut it out just before the ball reached Paulo Roberto, who tapped it into the back of the net. In the final play of the match, Ábel Gyorgy sent a free kick over Lucas Furtado's goal.
