Flamengo faced Fluminense in the first leg of the Brazilian Under-17 Championship, on the afternoon of this Thursday (19), and drew 1-1. Joshua scored the equalizer with a header for the red-black team, who dominated the match but started behind on the scoreboard. The return game will be next Thursday (26) at 15 pm, in Xerém, with broadcast on Sportv.


Game

Fluminense opened the scoring in the 17th minute. Flamengo tried to respond with Douglas Telles, who dribbled past two men and shot from outside the box into the goalkeeper's hands.

Mengão tied the match on a set piece. Guilherme delivered a perfect free kick to Joshua, who scored Mengão's first goal. The first half ended 1-1.
 
After the break, Guilherme again delivered a perfect cross for Jhefinho, who shot dangerously into the goalkeeper's corner. The next play, Lipão pivoted and passed to Joshua, who arrived in the box and fired over the bar.

At the end of the match, Joshua started a counterattack and passed the ball deep to Kaio Gomes, who, when he was about to return the ball to Joshua to face the goal, the defender blocked it.
