In the 18th round of the Brazilian Under-20 Championship, Flamengo drew 1-1 with Fluminense on Wednesday afternoon (16), at the Laranjeiras stadium. The Rubro-Negro's goal was scored by Rodrigo Muniz. With the result, Mais Querido returned to the top eight teams that qualify for the next phase.

The game
The first half started fairly evenly, with intense competition for possession in midfield. Fluminense's first clear chance fell to Wallace, who fired home an unmarked shot. Milani, well-positioned, managed to clear the ball off the line. The Laranjeiras team managed to retain possession for longer and began to attack threateningly, giving the red-and-black goalkeeper a hard time.

In the 25th minute, on a quick counterattack, Fluminense opened the scoring with Samuel: 1-0. Trailing, the red-and-black team began to attack more and nearly equalized with a corner kick taken by Lázaro. In the 44th minute, Mengão leveled the score. Ramon received the ball on the left and crossed perfectly to Rodrigo Muniz, who headed it powerfully, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance: 1-1.

After the second half, the game remained tightly contested, with both teams looking to attack. In the sixth minute, Rodrigo Muniz received the ball on the right and shot, but the goalkeeper made a good save. In the 25th minute, Thiaguinho made a good play and shot from outside the box, but the goalkeeper saved. In the final minutes, Rodrigo Muniz took a free kick from the edge of the box, but the ball went just wide of the post. The derby ended in a draw in Laranjeiras.

The Most Beloved returns to the field next Sunday (20) to face Corinthians, at 15:30 pm, in Gávea. The confrontation is valid for the last round of the first phase of the Brazilian Sub-20.
