After finishing sixth in the Terborg International Under-20 Tournament in the Netherlands, the alternative team representing Flamengo abroad, with a mix of youth and junior athletes, continues its European tour. This Saturday morning (June 03.06), the "Garotos do Ninho" debuted in the traditional Spax Cup, held in Germany, with a 1-1 draw (Yuri) against Schalke 04, representing the host country of the competition. The category's main players remain in Brazil, competing in the Copa do Brasil final and the State Championship.

The strong group also includes Hamburg (GER) and FC Midtjylland (DEN). Both will face the Red-Blacks in Sunday's doubleheader. The other group includes Atlético Mineiro, Zenit (RUS), and Germany's Wolfsburg and Tus Ennepetal.
