The youth team took the field against Joinville in the first leg of the category's quarterfinals. The Mais Querido opened the scoring, suffered the comeback and, in the end, managed to draw 2-2. The next match is next Thursday (October 29.10), in Joinville.
Cafu scored the first goal of the match in the 32nd minute, with a shot from outside the box. The Santa Catarina team equalized in the 37th minute, when André Krobel crossed and the defense ended up scoring an own goal. In the very next play, Adriano turned the game around with a touch past Thiago. The Rubro-Negro returned to the field in the second half with better organization and managed to equalize in the tenth minute with a cross-shot from Douglas Baggio. The Mais Querido pressed and sought victory until the end, even hitting the crossbar with Matheus Sávio and forcing the opposing goalkeeper to make some good saves.
