Flamengo concludes preparations for the semifinal of the Brazilian Under-17 Championship
The Ninho Boys face São Paulo in the first leg in Volta Redonda
By Victor andrade - inThe Mengão U-17 team has completed preparations for the first semifinal match against São Paulo, with its sights set on the Brazilian Championship final. The Rubro-Negro team is seeking its third title, having won in 2019 and 2021.
The match will be at 19:15 pm (Brasília time), at the Raulino de Oliveira stadium, in Volta Redonda, where the U-20 team won the Brasileirão over Palmeiras in September. Keeping an eye on the good energy of the steel city, the U-17 delegation arrived at the venue on Monday, where they trained on the stage of this Wednesday's game (11). On Tuesday (10), coach Leonardo Ramos did the last training session in preparation for the match, held at the Volta Redonda CT.
A Volta Redonda native, striker Bill is excited for the match against São Paulo. The division's top scorer with 14 goals, along with Felipe Teresa, the striker spoke about playing where he took his first steps in football before joining Flamengo. Check out the video below.
