Flamengo faces Aparecidense (GO), in the second round of the São Paulo Cup

After a 0-0 draw in their debut against Floresta (CE), Garotos do Ninho are ready for their second challenge in the competition.

The squad led by coach Márcio Torres completed their preparations for the match against Aparecidense (GO), a second-round match in Group 5 of the São Paulo Cup, under heavy rain in the city of Jaú. The final training session was divided into two phases.

At the gym, the athletes performed joint mobility work (recovery), myofascial release, core and proprioception. Next, on the Caiçara Clube de Jaú field, Marcio Torres led tactical, technical, and finishing drills.

"I've been at Flamengo for 13 years, I've already had the opportunity to win two Copinhas, and I feel ready to continue the work that Mario Jorge has been leading. Our team is strong and focused on getting the three points in tomorrow's match, which will be crucial for our qualification for the next stage of the competition," said coach Márcio Torres.

The match against Aparecidense (GO) takes place this Thursday (5), at 21:45 pm, with live broadcast on SporTV.
