Flamengo faces Fluminense this Wednesday (22), at 15 pm, at the José Bastos Padilha Stadium, in Gávea. The red-and-black team hopes to continue its good form in the competition after defeating Grêmio, away from home.
The 1-0 victory over the team from Rio Grande do Sul, with a goal by Josmar, left Flamengo in seventh place with 10 points. The team has scored 12 times in the competition and conceded the same number of goals.
In an attempt to stay in the qualifying zone of the Brazilian Under-20 Championship and climb the table, the team trained on the holiday this Tuesday (21) at CT George Helal. Coach Bruno Pivetti adjusted the final details of the team and prepared the strategy to overcome the traditional opponent.
After the Fla-Flu derby, the Flamengo youth team will have very little time to rest. Next Saturday, the Rubro-Negro will take the field again for the Brazilian U-20 Championship, once more at 15 pm, at Gávea. The opponent will be Cruzeiro.
