Flamengo faces Juventude-RS in the Brazilian Under-20 Championship.

By Communication - inFlamengo embarked this Friday afternoon (15) towards Rio Grande do Sul, where they will face Juventude-RS, for the Brazilian Under-20 Championship. The duel, valid for the 12th round of the competition, will be played this Saturday (16), at 15 pm, at the Homero Soldatelli Stadium, which is located in Flores da Cunha, about 20 kilometers from Caxias do Sul, the city of the home team.
Following the departure of coach Bruno Pivetti, Daniel Franklin, coach of the under-17 category, will lead the team. Flamengo is currently in 12th place in the Brazilian Under-20 Championship with 14 points, three behind Botafogo, which occupies eighth place. The top eight teams qualify for the round of 16 after the conclusion of the single-round qualifying phase of the competition, which includes 20 clubs.
The team held their final training session this Friday on field 6 of Ninho do Urubu, preparing to face Juventude. The expectation is that Flamengo will return to winning ways to get a head start in the Brazilian U-20 Championship and secure a spot in the next phase.
