Flamengo takes to the field to compete in 11 categories this weekend

The under-15 team opens the way this Friday (27) against Fluminense, in the Carioca final

Guaranteed a place in the Carioca finals in the under-15 and under-17 categories, in addition to deciding the title of the Copa Rio Sub-16, Flamengo beat Vasco in the semifinals of the under-13 (2 x 0) and under-14 (3 x 0) categories of the Metropolitan Championship, this Thursday (26), at CT do Almirante, in Caxias, in Baixada Fluminense. Rubro-Negro will enter the field for the dispute of 11 categories starting this Friday (27), when the under-15 team will face Fluminense, at 14:45 pm, in Gávea, for the first leg of the Carioca decision. 

Five more categories will take to the field the following day, Saturday (28). The under-20 team will play the first duel of the OPG Cup semifinal, against Fluminense, at 14:30 pm, in Gávea. The under-17 team also begins its quest for the Carioca title. The Rubro-Negro's opponent is Botafogo, in a match scheduled for 18 pm, at Nilton Santos Stadium.

Flamengo will close Saturday with three more title deciders. For the U-11 Metropolitan Championship, the first match of the final will be against Serrano, at 10:30 a.m., at Atílio Marotti Stadium. The U-10 and U-9 categories conclude the day against Fluminense, at 10:40 a.m. and 9 a.m., respectively, at Marcelo Vieira Stadium in Xerém, in the first leg of the Edilson Silva Cup.

The marathon continues on Sunday (29), with the second leg of the Copa Rio Sub-16 final, between Flamengo and Vasco, at 10 am, in Gávea. In the first match, the rival won 3-1.

The sequence continues with the under-14 and under-13 categories of the red-blacks who will play the second match of the Metropolitano semifinals against Vasco, respectively, at 10:40 am, and at 9 am, both at CT das Vargens.

Two more games will close out Mengão's weekend. The under-8 and under-7 teams will face Botafogo in the Edilson Silva Cup at 9 a.m. and 8 a.m., respectively, at the Ninho das Garças Training Center in Guaratiba.
