If it was already difficult due to Flamengo's need to win by three goals to secure a place in the final of the Rio U-20 Cup, the goal conceded at the beginning of the game complicated things even more. Botafogo won 4-1 in the duel played on Saturday morning (17), at the Nilton Santos Stadium, and secured a place in the final.

The second half didn't change. The opponent ended up extending their lead in the 10th minute, with Kauan Toledo. Botafogo still had time to score the fourth in the 38th, again with Kauan. Lipão pulled one back six minutes later, giving the game its final tally. Flamengo bids farewell to the Copa Rio with four wins, one draw, and four losses.
