During their trip to the United States, Flamengo's U-17 team debuted with a victory in the Generation Adidas Cup. Playing this Saturday, the team led by coach Filipe Luis defeated Atlanta (USA) 1-0. Ítalo scored the red-and-black goal in the 11th minute of the first half. 

This Sunday (31), the Garotos do Ninho will return to the field, to face Portland Timbers (USA), in the second round of group D.

It's worth noting that the tournament, which features clubs from North and South America, Europe, and Asia, has two 30-minute halves. The final will be 35 minutes each, with two 5-minute halves in the event of a tie. If the match continues, a penalty shootout will be held.
