Flamengo's U-17 team, champions of the Copa Rio last week by defeating rivals Fluminense in the final, concluded their preparations for their Brazilian Championship debut against Cuiabá this Wednesday at 15 p.m. in Gávea. The team, led by coach Léo Ramos, completed physical training, followed by tactical training, at the George Helal Training Center. For the match against Cuiabá, the "Mais Querido" will have the return of midfielder Khauan Schlickmann, who has recovered from an injury that forced him out of the Copa Rio finals and will be available on the bench.

"We're ready for our Brazilian Championship debut, and we have the opportunity to debut at home. Since this is the first game of the championship, we've been working hard these past few days, both on and off the field. We're going after that first win, but always respecting our opponents," commented coach Leo Ramos.

Champion in the 2019 and 2021 editions, the Garotos do Ninho are in Group A of the Brazilian Championship, which also includes the following teams: América-MG, Atlético-MG, Botafogo, Bragantino, Ceará, Corinthians, Internacional and Fluminense.
