Led by the general manager of the base, Luiz Carlos de Azevedo, Flamengo reached an agreement this Friday with CEWG (Centro Esportivo Wilson Goiano), which will be the new pofficial partner for recruiting high-performance athletes in the city of Trindade, in Goiânia and surrounding areas.

"The CEWG has an excellent structure, and we're deeply committed to this partnership to recruit high-performance athletes. Flamengo believes there are many athletes throughout Brazil who deserve this opportunity, and our main goal is to provide this opportunity for new talent to emerge and perhaps join our youth teams," said Luiz Carlos, general manager of the Flamengo youth academy.

With a structure of 3 official natural grass fields, 1 dirt field, 1 natural grass field, 5 synthetic grass fields, 2 open multi-sport sand courts, 2 covered multi-sport sand courts, 1 beach soccer field, large internal and external circulation area, andparking for cars and trucks and a snack bar, the Sports Center of former soccer player Wilson Goiano (who played for clubs in Rio de Janeiro and Brazil) will be a center in the Central-West region so that players with potential have the opportunity to undergo a period of training and improvement, so that they can arrive in better conditions to be approved.

"The Midwest has always produced players who have gone on to achieve success throughout Brazil," said Wilson Goiano, who played for Botafogo in Rio de Janeiro.
