Playing this Wednesday, in the fifth round of the Brazilian Under-20 Championship, Flamengo drew 0-0 against América-MG, in Gávea.
With the result, the Garotos do Ninho now have 7 points (2 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses), remaining in eighth place. The red-blacks' next match will take place next Wednesday (16), against Cruzeiro, in Belo Horizonte.
The game:
In a fast-paced first half, with the opposing team playing with their attacking lines, the "Garotos do Ninho" struggled. In one of the few dangerous chances, Lorran hit a good shot that the goalkeeper partially saved. Goalkeeper Leo Nannetti ended up being the standout performer for the red-and-black team, with some difficult saves.
After the break, Flamengo made a change. Gusttavo, playing left-back, was replaced by Carbone. But with one of his first touches, he sprained his right foot. Italo immediately replaced him. Lorran nearly scored in stoppage time.
