Flamengo thrashes Boavista 5-0 in the second round of the Under-17 Guanabara Cup

In the second game this Saturday (8), played at CEFAN, Flamengo U-17 beat Boavista 5-0, in the second round of the Guanabara Cup in the category. Kauan Pereira (2), Bill, Pablo, Lucas Vieira. With the triumph, Mengão continues with 100% success in the first two rounds of the competition.

The goals
Mengão opened the scoring just eight minutes into the first half. Gusttavo came in well down the right and crossed perfectly for Kauan Pereira to head stylishly into the back of the net: 1-0.

The Ninho Boys extended their lead in the 19th minute. Boavista's defense made a poor play and Bill took advantage to shoot into the corner, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance: 2-0.

In the 30th minute, Rubro-Negro scored their third goal in the first half. After a corner kick from the left, Pablo took it first time and placed it in the goalkeeper's left corner: 3-0. Eight minutes later, Mengão scored their fourth! Luan Andrey sped down the right and crossed into the box for Kauan Pereira to score his second goal of the match: 4-0.

Just three minutes in, Mais Querido extended their lead with the fifth goal of the match. Lucas Vieira picked up the rebound at the edge of the box and fired home a first-time shot. The ball bounced on the turf before going into the net: 5-0.
