Reinforced by Igor Jesus and Cleiton, who were serving the professional team in the middle of the week, Flamengo's U-20 team won this Sunday morning (28), at Cefan (Penha), against Audax, by a score of 6 to 0. The goals were scored by Cleiton, Pedrinho, Werton and Euder (3). The match was valid for the penultimate round of the first phase of the Guanabara Cup.

With the result, the team led by coach Mário Jorge reached second place in the competition with 20 points (6 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses).

The game
Despite a busy start to the game and heavy marking, the Mais Querido managed to find space, especially on the left flank, and scored twice. The first came in the 34th minute, with a header from defender Cleiton, following a perfect corner kick from Zé Welinton. In the 41st minute, it was Petterson's turn to make a beautiful individual play, also on the left flank, and pass it to forward Pedrinho for a superb finish.

Even with the lead, Mengão returned for the second half hungry for goals. In the 13th minute, a play worked with Daniel Sales led to a goal by attacking midfielder Werton. Two minutes later, Mengão scored the fourth goal through Euder, a deflected ball by Audax. The same striker, who came on in the second half in place of Pedrinho, shone, scoring twice more and completing his hat trick in the 35th and 41st minutes, sealing the match's final tally.

It is worth noting that Flamengo repeated the same score as last week, beating Botafogo in the classic held last week in Gávea.

The red-blacks will end the classification phase next Saturday (3), against Nova Iguaçu, at 10 am, in Gávea.
