Last Wednesday, coach Paulo Henrique had already taken charge of Flamengo's youth team on an interim basis in a 2-2 draw against Volta Redonda at Gávea. But this Saturday, in his first game as the permanent coach of the under-20 team, the youngsters did not disappoint, crushing Bangu at home 4-0.

Looking to do their homework, the team from Gávea gave their opponent no chances from the first minute of the game. Pressing and attacking constantly, the red-and-blacks had no trouble opening the scoring with Diego Maurício. Dudu scored the second, Luiz Antônio added another, and Jorbison sealed the rout. The team also missed a penalty, and Guilherme was sent off.

"The whole team did very well. I was very happy with the victory. The team deserved the result and now we have to think about the game against Americano, on Tuesday, in Campos," said goalkeeper Marcelo Carné.

With the result, Fla reaches seven points in the competition and remains undefeated in the fight for the Taça Rio de Juniores title.
